Adding a calendar

  1. Sign into site. Go to the Admin/Editor menu and select “Calendar Plugin”.
  2. On the list manager page, click “Add Calendar”. A prompt will appear asking for a calendar name. Enter the name for your calendar and click “Ok”. If a blank calendar name is entered, you will be asked to enter a valid calendar name.

Edit a calendar

  1. Sign into site. Go to the Admin/Editor menu and select “Calendar Plugin”.
  2. In the calendar plugin, each list will be shown on a table with options to edit or delete the list. To edit the list go to the table row where the list to edit is shown and click the “Edit” button.
  3. An edit page will appear with fields for field/column name, description, and type. These fields cannot be edited as they are all needed for the calendar to work. Below the fields, you can add a field and edit the permissions on a calendar. Don’t use the back button to return to the calendars as this may not save all of your data. Instead use the button provided called “Return to calendars”. This will automatically save any changes you made to the calendar.
  4. You may change the calendar permissions below the fields. These permissions edit what anybody can view. For example, giving anybody permission to view the calendar will make the calendar view and upcoming events viewable to the public.

View calendar

  1. Sign into site. Go to the Admin/Editor menu and select “Calendar Plugin”.
  2. Select the name of the calendar you wish to view. All events should show up, by clicking an event, you can view it's details and have options to edit and delete the events. NOTE: Some options may not show up if permissions are restricted, those can be changed in the calendar settings.

Add an event

  1. Sign into site. Go to the Admin/Editor menu and select “Calendar Plugin”.
  2. Adding an event is easy. In the calendar plugin, click on the name of the calendar you want to add an event to. Click on “Add Event”, the add item page will appear where you input the data you wish to add then click “Save”.

Edit an event

  1. Sign into site. Go to the Admin/Editor menu and select “Calendar Plugin”.
  2. In the calendar plugin, click on the name of the calendar you want to edit an event on. Find the event which you want to edit. Once the event is found click on the “Edit” button with the associated event.
  3. The edit event page will appear where you can edit the data, once your changes are finished click “Save”.

Delete an event

  1. Sign into site. Go to the Admin/Editor menu and select “Calendar Plugin”.
  2. In the calendar plugin, click on the name of the calendar you want to delete an event on. Find the event which you want to delete. Once the event is found click on the “Delete” button with the associated event.
  3. A confirmation window will appear, click “Ok” to continue.

Delete calendar

  1. Sign into site. Go to the Admin/Editor menu and select “Calendar Plugin”.
  2. On the calendar plugin page, find the calendar you want to delete (NOTE: this cannot be undone) and click “Delete”.
  3. A confirmation window will appear, confirm that you want to delete the selected calendar.
